This time last year, something very special came to life in our town... a heartfelt celebration of creativity, place and community. Creative Heathcote magazine was launched and I had the great joy of contributing to it in ways that felt both personal and deeply rooted.

The cover, styled and photographed by me, remains one of my favourite moments behind the lens. Inside, my photography flows through the pages, capturing some of the stories of Heathcote’s many talented makers and creatives. I was also honoured to be featured in an editorial that spoke to the spirit of slow living and local artistry, something that continues to shape everything I do at the store.
The magazine was the result of a beautiful collaboration between the artist Susie Marcroft of Creative Heathcote and the City of Greater Bendigo, both of whom poured time and care into showcasing the vibrant, creative soul of our community.
A year on, I’m still moved by the connections this project sparked. It was a reminder of what can unfold when we pause, look closely and celebrate what’s already around us.
If you haven’t yet seen a copy, we have a few tucked away in store. It's a small piece of local history and a testament to the creative heartbeat of this place I’m so lucky to call home.
