It’s a surreal and proud moment to see the store featured in a full editorial in Country Style magazine. The pages are filled with cosy light and a soulful mood and the story of what I've been slowly building here in Heathcote.

The piece captures so much of what I hold dear: the ethos of slow shopping, the joy of curating goods with history and heart and the everyday rhythm of being a storekeeper in a country town. It also shares glimpses of my own path, through my handmade work, textiles and interiors, to creating Heathcote General Trader as it stands today.
Being included in Country Style is more than just a feature; it’s a recognition of the deeper values that guide the store: sustainability, connection to place, craftsmanship and a quiet kind of beauty that focuses on slow living.

Thank you to the team at Country Style for telling my story so thoughtfully, and to everyone who’s stepped through the door, lingered a little longer and shared in the spirit of what I'm creating here.
